Compensation & Market Insights Consultant

We are looking for an experienced consultant to join our Compensation & Market Insights team at Melon.

As a Compensation & Market Insights Consultant, you'll develop tailored compensation & benefits solutions, conduct market research and other employee experience related researches, and provide data-driven insights.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with our clients to understand their specific requirements and develop tailored compensation and benefits solutions that attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and benchmarking to identify trends, ensuring our clients remain competitive in the talent market.
  • Create and implement innovative compensation policies, considering various factors like market trends, internal equity, and industry-specific demands.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to advise clients on compensation strategies, ensuring fair and equitable practices within their organizations.
  • Develop and maintain salary grids, job evaluation systems, and incentive structures, providing our clients with a clear roadmap for employee growth and development.
  • Lead all growth-related strategies to expand the existing research studies.

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Compensation and Benefits within the consultancy sector, with a focus on working with startups.
  • Experience in advising startup clients on equity-based compensation structures, stock option plans, and other startup-specific incentives.
  • Proven ability to design and create compensation & benefits policies from scratch, tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Ability to construct comprehensive compensation grids, aligning them with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, enabling informed decision-making and strategic insights for our clients.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational culture and employee engagement theory and practice.
  • Experience conducting assessments and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
